The books will be donated to 400 public libraries and elementary, middle and high school libraries in the inter-Korean islands and mountain areas. It will also be placed in the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art's art bookshop so that anyone can purchase it.
The books will be composed of seven Korean artists (Kim Hwan-ki, Lee Joong-sup, Byun Wol-ryong, Yoo Young-guk, Park Rae-hyun, Yoon Hyung-geun, and Lee Seung-jo) and the exhibition books, "The Museum of Modern Art: Masterpieces of Modern and Contemporary Korean Calligraphy," and a total of 4,000 books will be prepared. RM's support books will be available to the library and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art's art bookshop sometime next month.Yoon Bum-mo, director of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, said, "I was happy and surprised that RM said that it would be good for teenagers who have difficulty accessing the museum to easily access the art. I will try to spread the reading culture with RM, who often visit the art museum despite their busy schedules."
